Lizzy Cox: My best fit in the political ideology quiz was the Solid Liberal, along with 16% of the public. Like most people, most of my political knowledge stems from my parents views, but I'm working to make myself better informed (also I'm a big Bill Maher fan). Unfortunately, I turned 18 five days after the last presidential election, but I'm hoping to learn more so I can make well informed voting decisions at the local and national level. This is a required class for me so I guess that would have to be my first priority. However, I like being able to talk politics with other people so I want to be more informed on today's issues. I hope to gain a better understanding of how our local government works and realize what kind of affect I can have on change. I know little about Texas state and local government.
